Community update

During Minecraft live earlier today it seems like the update is a mix of things Mojang has had planned for a while but couldn't figure out how to implement with no clear theme connecting them. So I would suggest the idea that maybe Mojang could turn this into the first community update by letting players suggest one small thing each. They could open some sort of poll and let us suggest a mob or block set (with limits of course) and like each other's ideas and choose from the most popular.
