The Vinegaroon is a medium-sized terrestrial arthropod which spawns at night in desert and mesa biomes. The Vinegaroon is blind and senses danger with its long "whips" similarly to a skulk sensor. It's a neutral mob and only becomes hostile when the player makes too much noise. When threatened, it has two attacks: a simple crushing attack to latch onto the player, or it sprays blinding fluid which induces the Blindness effect for a few seconds. The Vinegaroon has two possible item drops: spider eyes and Stink Glands, which can be used to brew blindness potions. This mechanic gives the enchantment Bane of Arthropods slightly more utility. Originally my idea was to add skunks to the game which would spray blinding fluid at the player, but I also don't want to motivate the Minecraft community into actively hunting cute little skunks to brew blindness pots. An arthropod would be a better alternative.
