Better Item Sorting

I feel like one of the main reasons why I get burned out in minecraft is the fact hat it's painful to deal with many Items. Building big sorting/storage rooms is not really a point I ever reach because:

1. Hoppers are too expensive

2. Item sorting via redstone is a mess.

I would like to have a copper version of the hopper so I can start organizing way earlier. (Copper also doesn't have too much use and you find an abundance of it. 

There should also be a one-block solution to sorting. Some block that links to a chest that reads its contents for what items to filter. Maybe another Observer. 

Then there should be a sorting button on chests. Just sort the Alphabetically, It would help so much. A little toggle on the side. The base inventory system is sadly really painful to deal with. It's clunky. It doesn't take away from anything to have these things. It's just one of the many QoL changes Minecraft needs.

    I don't know why some say iron is too expensive if you have an iron farm because you have too much of it. You only need 3 villagers and you already have more iron than you need.
