There should be a new frame, that you can sort items with.
It is loocking and working similarly to the lapislazuli slot in the enchanting table or the blazepowder slot in the brewingstand. But you can put it in to hoppers to sort items ( also nonstackable items like totems) or put it in to chests. A hopper can´t pull it out of a chest or hopper. The player is the olny one who can take it.
POSSIBILITIES:
-When you want to built an automatic item sorter you can filter tools, boats, totems, enchanted boocks ect.
-You don´t need an itemsorting system for every single item f.e. you can put 5 different frames into one hopper.
-This new item could make autocrafting possible, by placing a frame into a craftingtable.
-You could enchant a frame to only filter f.e. mending books or efficiency pickaxes.
-There could be a way to filter items, that can´t be smelted, out of a furnance.
-You can filter waterbuckets and waterbotles out of a dispenser.
-Auto brewing could be easier.
