i had to think hard to think up this mob. the idea of the end retiner, is if it comes along with a full end update, so let's dive right in to my large library of ideas. first end crystals shouldn't be made with ender eyes. they should be made with end crystal shards. the idea is, if you look out in the void, you have a slight chance of seeing floating islands made out of clusters of ender crystal, which explode, and can set off a chain reaction explosion when you mine them without the silk touch enchantment. with these crystals, you can make ender crystals. this leaves the old recipe for something else. if you put an ender eye, ghast tear, and some glass together, you get the void tracker, which is pretty much a compass that leads you to a new biome, the retiner's mountain. at the top of this mountain is the place where you put eyes just like an ender portal to summon the monster itself. the retiner is a boss like non other. instead of just straight attacking you, it uses it's powerful eyes to control blocks around you, and attack you with them. the main appearance is an ender portal rift in between a swarm of eyes which are surrounded by chunks of black rock called dull rack which makes up the mountain. the idea is to give you a trippy experience fighting the hardest boss in the game. it will have 300 health, and will drop nothing, but torn rift. this can be made into void film, which will then allow you a portable end portal. continue to comments for more ideas.
