Capacity to mention players in Online/LAN sessions using @ (Java & Bedrock)

I would like to see this feature in minecraft chat, my idea is when a player is mentioned in the chat the mention must be highlighted to targeted player, the message mentioning someone can be visible to all players (public message) but the mentioned player must receive a highlighted message when mentioned by some player, also the message sent by the player must be public highlighted and anyone  must understand by the highlight that the message is a mention to someone, hope this feature be introduced in the next updates, Minecraft is simply awesome.
