Let me open two Minecraft applications at the same time

I am not sure if this is on purpose or if this is a bug, but you can't open the launcher again if you have Minecraft running on the new launcher. If this was on purpose it is a terrible change that makes it impossible to test things on your server using an alt account or change your skin while the game is running. I would like to see this get reverted because it is super annoying.

  Isn't that already possible? you just cant go in the same server or something with the same account unless you have multiple accounts
