Minecraft is already on so many consoles. They’ve been on Xbox, PlayStation, and even Nintendo systems. Atari released the VCS system about 2 years ago. While yes, you can indeed play Minecraft already if you install Linux or Windows on the VCS, I feel like it is a good idea to bring Minecraft to it in the Atari mode. Since the VCS runs on a modified version of Linux, it would probably make sense to use Java Edition, since Bedrock can not be played on Linux natively. The VCS controllers are essentially the same as Xbox One controllers in terms of buttons and layout. And you can hook up a Bluetooth or USB keyboard to it for Java-style play. I do not know if the system is powerful enough to play Minecraft, and I am not looking it up either. But since the VCS is barely making any sales, I think it would be a great idea and try to launch Minecraft Java (or Bedrock if possible) on the VCS, just as a strategy to pull in more sales.
