Video Content Creator Program

This suggestion is for recommending a Video Content Creator program to exist through Bedrock Edition that has the goals of.

1. Helping players connect with their favorite creators creations

2. Helping creators connect with their viewers by offering world downloads of lets play or tutorial worlds, possibly structure exports of builds they have done

3. Helping support the creators via player donations

4. Making Mojang the money needed to create and continually support such a program

 

The way this process would work is Mojang would have minimum requirements for the creators audience size, have a code of conduct of which would be back checked via the creators public accounts, and ultimately need human approval by a team or person designated for this. This would not require a LLC like required of marketplay partners, as the video creators are not selling a product.

 

Once approved, the creators would go on a section of the marketplace made for partnered Minecraft creators. Here players could find their favorite creators to download worlds and such posted by the creator, see additional info about the creator, and be pointed to their related pages. Players could leave a donation/tip in support of their creator, which would be subject to some agreed upon split that Mojang comes up with (maybe 70 creator / 30 Mojang)

 

This would strengthen the Minecraft community overall, making the game easier for players, and building relationships between player base, creators, and Mojang.

    Would love to be able to do this, I have multiple worlds and addons which I share through free sites that are constantly being stolen and republished without permission. It would be amazing to have a safe secure place to share my content with the community without the worry of theft. I do not want payment for what I do, I want to make people happy with what I create.

    I really like the ideal and support it. It would be nice considering they need to overhaul the marketplace anyway if they want it to survive. Most people aint buying addons/behavior packs basically  that are  limited to 1 world is just plain stupid. Only kids will buy  it.  whitch unfortunately is their target audience but hopefully parents realize it's a crappy deal. Anyway with the way mojang/Microsoft is it would more and likely Be like a ( 70 mojang / 30 creator ) is more their style unfortunately.
