When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).
Using this you would be able to build doors elevators ect. Without having to use all the materials to make a double piston extender . You would be able to craft the double piston by placing two pistons, one at the top and one at the bottom of your crafting table, a slime ball in between the pistons and two redstone torches on either side of the slime ball.
