In a version of MCPE, which might be experimental, the /execute syntax was changed to the Java version. Some players, especially ones newer to the command, may be confused by the new syntax as it is quite complex.
The way I suggest fixing this is by adding in the older syntax as another option, so players can use both, one for powerful commands (like text languages), and the other for learning the function of /execute (like Scratch).
I’m not sure if this was already changed or not, but last I knew, it wasn’t. Please make both versions available in all editions of Minecraft with commands.
The simpler /execute syntax is as follows, with the detect section optional, and is seen in MCPE before the change:
/execute <target> [detect <x> <y> <z> <block> <data>] <x> <y> <z> <command>
This also makes it a lot slower for me to type execute commands. Those extra seconds add up. I’m generally a watcher on the internet, but this is REALLY annoying and the short syntax needs to be an option for the sake of avoiding unnecessary arguments in commands.
