Making different builds around different things like Soul or Pets is fun, but the game almost discourages you from doing this because there’s no way to switch between load outs easily. There’s no way to keep items at the top of your inventory so you can easily access them when you need to switch to something else.
Once you reach certain XP level milestones, you get more load out slots. Right now the only thing you get for levelling up is an enchantment point and some achievements for a few milestones. After a while, levelling up is boring. This could add some more fun to it. At level 10 you get a 2nd slot, at 25 your 3rd, at 50 your 4th, and at 100 your 5th.
On the left of the inventory screen there’s buttons that can be pressed that switch you between load outs. When you’re on a load out, when you put on any gear, that gear is saved onto that load out. You can easily switch between loadouts at the press of the button.
So you know which load out is which, you could customise the button you press to go onto the load out. The default could be a number. New icons could be unlocked whenever you unlock a new load out slot. Icons could be pictures of mob heads, like a skeleton or creeper head. They could be small icons of weapons or artifacts. You could even have the difficulty icons as loadout icons. Just give us different icons so know which loadout is which. Like we could have a build focused around poison as a spider. Or a pet build as a dog.
