On an SMP, a friend and I cheesed the warden fairly easily by respawning next to it repeatedly. That's no fun. So much work has already been done to make the warden uncheesable, so why leave such an obvious method available? This issue could easily be solved by making the warden's presence within a certain distance––let's say 50 blocks––of a bed simply prevent players from respawning at that bed. This would solve that fact that I can't sleep at night, thinking about how such a perfectly designed mob could be outsmarted by any fool with 3 wool, 3 planks, and a chest to put their items in.
