    The Minecraft squid is probably the least similar mob to its real-life counterpart.

    Squids in real life can be terrifying, and (considering Minecraft's stance on sharks) they logically should be very different from our durpy friends, but I like the durpy, mostly useless, harmless squids in Minecraft and they've been there since near the start... though maybe they could bring back your boat breaking if you hit one, though, as that made boating slightly harder and more fun.
