Toggle Chat Reporting

Some server moderators didn't like this feature. So with this feature, server moderators can toggle if they want to add chat reporting to their server or not

    Agreed. If it were toggleable, servers with built-in moderation could go without it, and anyone joining a server with it disabled would just have to check something saying they're over 13 or 16, depending on the age they want to go with.

    I am literally too afraid of someone using the gaslighting or similar mods to allow any strangers on my realm. How am I supposed to grow my community on my half-decade-plus old realm when I'm terrified that incompetently-implemented "feature" could wind up costing me it all?! Genuinely considering canceling my realms subscription and switching to a normal server so I can use mods to disable chat reporting from functioning. Safety first, after all! You can't implement a system that dangerous when it's so easily exploitable!

    Downright remove the system, there is already a warning saying servers may contain unrated content so there is no reason to have this, if we want moderation tools we'll use the already refined ones made by the community that we have control of

    this system should be wipe out from the minecraft but if you can't do this, just add Toggle Chat Reporting

    Chat report is a good thing, at least the idea and just for smaller servers, big servers that already has moderation and /report feature don't need the minecraft chat report at all. But for smaller servers this can be usefull. But the sentence is too great, chat report should ban you from the server and ask to mods if it should be permanent or not. Otherwise it's just dumb if you've been banned when you haven't done anything

    It should be a line in the server.properties file you have to access when hosting a server. And it should be an option when you start a LAN server.

    Definitely should be ENTIRELY optional for server owners, down to allowing banned players to join servers who opt to allow them. Control of third-party servers and their players should remain SOLELY in the hands of the server's agents and team, as we foot the hosting fees and payment to moderation teams where applicable.

    This system is deeply flawed and is not fit for a space where there is such a wide scope and sequence outside of bedrock partnered servers. I can see this applying to Realms and Partnered Servers, but this system is not sufficient in its current state for the goals it wishes to achieve.
