Villagers fighting with Illagers

When a villager sees a illager make them run up to the illager and kill them with their trident. I feel sorry for the villagers dying and not fighting back. Make this happen to all hostile mobs including creepers. So Villager will have the power to fight back

    Villagers are pacifists. They have their iron golems to defend them.

    They're designed to not fight, and that's what iron golems were made for. Villagers want peace, illagers want war. Players are also around to help fight alongside the iron golems if desired.

    Would be nice to have villagers and illagers both performing raids on each other. You might be able to chose paths by killing the illagers or villagers and be able to trade with one of the 2 sides for increasingly more powerful goods the better your reputation gets.

    Why do they randomly have tridents?

    Villagers aren't fighters, they're peaceful citizens. The Iron Golem is there for a reason, to protect them because they can't protect themselves.

    Iilagers Have ravager so it is best for villagers to fight

    Honestly, this is not a good idea. The villagers value peace, which is what sets them apart from other mobs. To make them fight would only turn them into monsters too, because in the end both sides are committing the same evil. Mobs aren’t evil for being mobs, it is the fact that they choose to kill people that make them evil.
