In long term survival worlds, it's a pain to try and get to the ancient cities, so imagine how it feels when you think you can make your very own and summon The Warden around your area, it just doesn't work. If this is to prevent exploiting The Warden, You can already do that, it just favors people with brand new worlds and close access to ancient cities/deep dark. If the player gets a catalyst they know what they're getting themselves into, if they see a shrieker and it gives you the darkness effect they would probably break it if unintentional, it would be too hard to get the sculk out of control to a point where you can't break the shrieker, considering its a 1% chance to spawn. If you can't allow that, then maybe have the shrieker have a toggle that isn't tied to the debug stick, maybe something like right clicking with an echo shard, which would trigger a new sound verifying the shrieker is now active, but it wont activate for a minute after, giving the player some time to prepare. It would make it a lot easier to experiment with The Warden, and to get the how did we get here challenge in an old world. Minecraft is a sandbox game, the players should be able to toy with The Warden in a legitimate survival setting, its their choice if they want to activate it.
