Every category has its own sets of ideas but what occurs in most categories is the large number of "pinned" posts that take up the first page. The Caves and Cliffs category for example has 17 "pinned" posts compared to the 13 fan-made posts, which take up more than half the screen. This does help for feedback in snapshots, but it hides what fans want to suggest.
So how can this be fixed? I think the solution for this would be to give "pinned" comments their own subtopic. If you look at the top you will see bars that say "Newest Post" or "Recent Activity" but not "Pinned Post", so those posts should have their own subtopic that only they can be seen. Giving it a distinctive color(probably yellow)would also make it more clickable to make people more interested as well.
