This is my take on the other main post on the subject (https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360043618132--Availability-Oculus-Quest) I am making my own branch because the comments on that post are full at the time. I saw that it was mentioned that interest for a bedrock version would be monitored, and a java client was denied. I am fully in favor of a bedrock edition, and here is why.
1. It would bring a whole group of gamers (that don't own a pc or can't buy a cloud computing service) back into Minecraft.
2. It would possibly give a chance for bedrock users to sign in using their accounts on their consoles, etc. and not have to buy a completely separate launcher just for Oculus support.
3. Not only that, but it would be a really grand experience, especially for people who have only ever played Minecraft on phone, console, etc.
4. It would finally catch up with super primitive headsets that got Minecraft VR support in the past. (GearVR)
5. An unofficial community made Java port already exists on the quest through sidequest (QuestCraft) and it seems unfair that the bedrock community is left out again.
