I believe they should add a special cape for those with a microsfot account who didnt need to migrate

    In bedrock edition there is a cape for just having the game (pancape). There should be also a free cape for everyone who bought or will buy the game in the future or the past with a Microsoft account.

    Defeats the whole point of a special cape for people who played minecraft before microsoft accounts were a thing

    I agree.

    I started playing Minecraft in July 2021, with a Microsoft account even though I wanted to be able to make a Mojang one but was no longer able to.

    Then a few months later, the Migration cape was announced. I wished I had an account I could migrate and receive the cape, but I was already in a Microsoft account.
