    Dealing specific amounts isn't the main feature of the command for me, it's the fact that it counts as if the entity dealt the damage (the current methods of doing this are convoluted and unreliable), therefore being able to trigger advancements, aggro mobs, drop xp at mob kills, count towards scores, potentially even synergise with plugins, etc. Also choice of damage type is a great bonus for things like custom spells, weapons and effects.
