Lightyear DLC (Pocket Edition)

On the Lightyear DLC it lets you go to the second arena on the first mission but won’t let you fight the vine boss

    I got this map the first day for me and my 8 year old to play and he was so bummed that we could not get past this point. I have tried EVERYTHING restarting the game going in coming out then back in. Creating a whole new save. EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did get to fight the boss one time but the npc was stuck back at the top behind the vines at the water fall and there was no way back up so I was stuck again. I have looked everywhere for a fix but nothing.
    MINECRAFT PLEASE FIX THIS LIKE NOW PLEASE.

    P.S.S I HAVE TRIED TO REPORT THIS BUG BUT FOR SOME REASON IT WOULD NOT LET ME SO ALL I COULD DO IS COMMENT OM THIS ONE (sorry for ranting who every made this post in just VERY upset and ticked off)
