Let's talk about the most recent snapshot (22w24a)

We're now working towards our 1.19.3 release, which means more snapshots! On top of that, this snapshot introduces feature toggles which you can read more about here. 

You can use this new toggle to try out features coming in 1.20 update right now, including the new camel mob and chiseled bookshelves. Check out the latest changelog for more details!

Parity is something that's super important to our developers so everyone gets the same experience across Java and Bedrock. While this doesn't always happen simultaneously, major features that have been announced are in the works for both clients. Don't worry!

    The chat reporting is absolutly unnacceptable. Servers should be run the way the owners want to. If content isn't acceptable on one server, that does not mean that it is not acceptable on all. The lack of context will be a massive issue on these chat reports. I would highly recommend leaving moderation to the players, the way it always has been.

    I think that duplicating allays is a very good mechanism. But in this beta, you can create as many allays as you want with one single starting allay: it is overpowered. So I think you should add a condition for duplication: there must be a certain number of allays (e.g. 10) within a certain number of blocks (e.g. 15).

    Adding a censorship method would be the worst decision they make, servers that users create are supposed to be a separate issue from Mojang, and the responsibility lies solely with the server owners. Anarchic servers where obviously there are no rules would be the most affected or conversations that in different countries can mean something different (especially in Latin America) could cause many misunderstandings, after all, the one who decides what is allowed and that an owner should not decide, not Microsoft.
