Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.
On Bedrock Edition, you are able to light yourself on fire to light campfires, and use the Fire Aspect enchant to light candles, TNT, campfires, etc. alight. Java Edition lacks such abilities, and it would make more sense to be able to light/activate items with such methods.
