Lukomi (New Fantasy Mob)

The Lukomi is a mob that rarely spawns at night. It is all purple with lime eyes, and have droopy arms and a hunched back. The height is the height of a zombie. It swipes at you if you get too close to attack. A Lukomi can also camouflage into any block, except it has purple goo on it, so you'll know if it's there. If you break the block it camouflaged into, the Lukomi will pop out of the block and attack you. If you manage to kill it, you will be rewarded with purple goo, which can be placed on blocks to make it look like the Lukomi camouflaged into that block. Or, you can put it on your chestplate or tunic to hide in a block, so mobs can't see you.

    This seems weird. Why would you want to put the goo on a block? Wouldn't the camouflage be kind of useless as invisibility potions and/or mob heads let you do the same thing?
