New mob idea

My idea for a new mob is the vampire. Bats could morph into these mobs. It can utilise the pretty useless bat mob where not all bats are vampires but any bat could be one. If hit by one you would get a form of hunger (fairly long lasting) where eating raw meat would regenerate more hunger bars than cooked meat. Sunlight would do damage whilst infected. It would also have a buff of strength so it’s not all bad. This could link into new potions, curing the infection or prolonging it for those wanting to keep the additional strength. Could also link into a new crop - garlic, used in the curing potion but damaging if eaten raw.

    Sounds cool, would vampires drop anything unique? also would they be weak to wooden swords (like a wooden stake)

    Canonically, vampires can also turn into wolves and fog. Would that be implemented? What about if you killed the vampire?
