Wandering Traitor

What if not every wandering trader was benevolent? My idea is this: They look and act like really good trade holding wandering traders, but while they do not have illager gray skin, they do have similar eyebrows, if you look closely. At night, these wandering traders drink an invisibility potion, and will slowly sneak towards you and stab you with a sword. Once they hit you, their invisibility wears off and they just attack you directly. When killed, they may drop their iron sword, as well as an emerald.

    Good idea, but I think players kill the traders anyway

    It's kind of like a pillager patrol, but it is harder to tell if it is evil or not. Yeah, maybe traders could be improved first, so that players don't kill them as much. Also, these could be super rare, so no one expects it.

    Killing traders is my favorite pastime! My brother hates it when I kill the llamas, though...
