Ability to see the status of a running game or stop them

A lot of us know that in some popular game launchers, there is on option to close a game on the launcher. If let's say you can't seem to close it from the game itself, the game is unresponsive, and so on. Well I think this would be a good addition to the Minecraft Launcher. So that players know what versions are running, and/or if they are unresponsive and can't get the process killed through task manager or a terminal.

Basically players can see if an installation is running, and they can stop the game at anytime before it gets closed.
