The Sunken Tower is a large structure found within the mangrove swamps. The tower, now sunken into the mud of the swamp, is a total of 8 floors, including the roof. Each floor is heavily deteriorated, with large holes that can make for difficult navigation. Each floor has a chance at having a chest, which will contain small loot, including string, bowls, a small number of nuggets, or other miscellaneous items.
The bottom floor is flooded with mud, and contains the treasure room. The treasure room is small, and contains a chest filled with standard dungeon loot such as horse armor and saddles, gold, diamonds, other valuables, and a chance for minor enchanted items, such as a crossbow. It also contains a tripwire in front on the main entrance which, when triggered, will fire lingering potions of poison and harming.
The tower is similar in rarity to jungle temples, and will only spawn in large swamps. Due to its sunken status, it could be easily missed from the canopy, so players may need to drop down to the swamp floor to find it. This gives players more reason to explore the difficult to navigate terrain of the mangrove swamps.
