Wardens now drop a sculk catalyst when killed since Snapshot 22w17a. Before that, a new "can_summon" tag is added to the sculk shrieker in Snapshot 22w13a. All shriekers, except those naturally occurred, are set to "false" in this tag in order to prevent wardens summoning.
Seeing there's a warden drop at this time, I am hoping the warden drop can be changed to a sculk shrieker with "can_summon" tag set to true. It may be a good idea to have the original settings, like players no longer being attacked by wardens from any random shriekers except those naturally occurred. Yet, some players find no atmosphere when applying their shriekers in their sculk bulidings in vanilla survival. And the lost element is the warden of course.
Moreover, the wardens' power not only banishes any Ancient City explorers, but also can be utilized in some combats and as the turntable of skirmishes. Of course it has to be nerfed. Yet, I believe with my suggestion, not only it can fill the missing element in some players' sculk buildings, but also it makes such tactics a bit possible, with some reasonable nerfs. Once again, I hope you guys can take such suggestion into considerations, and change the warden drop to a sculk shrieker with "can_summon" tag set to true. It can make this item with such special tag a bit accessible to vanilla survival.
