Minecraft needs to update the feedback section of this website more frequently and make it easier for members of the community to share their thoughts.
Currently it seems like a suggestion as simple as a tweak to mob behavior or as complex as world generation is difficult to express to the development team. Getting onto this forum took me a long time and now that I am here I do not even see a section for the 1.19 update.
I wanted to express my thoughts as a community member about the recent changes to the game but found it extremely difficult.
I propose an overhaul to this section of the website so it is simple for members of the community to submit feedback on specific features and make suggestions for things in the future.
I feel that the team at Minecraft is not hearing criticism from the full community and instead accepting perceived silence as approval.
Reactions on Twitter and the few posts on this page give an incomplete picture of what the community wants. For instance the exclusion of fireflies and birch forests in the next release has garnered a significant majority of negative feedback but it is relegated to unread YouTube comments and the inability to reach the team directly anywhere else.
The creators of the game are incredible and the community is stronger for this game than most others throughout history but it is not sustainable to have a disconnect like this between them. It is time to make this feedback page a feature worthy of the community and developers.
