Revert the change that caps item enchants with commands at lvl 255

In 1.16-1.16.5 it used to be that if I get a preanchanted item with this command, /give @s minecraft:itemname{Enchantments:[{id:enchantmentname,lvl:levelnumber}]}, I would be able to get it with enchantmnets level 2147483647 but in 1.17 they added a limit of 255 so every number that I type higher than 255 will just revert back to level 255. And it was actually very fun to use the commands for which I typed a template command above. It was realy fun to get 2147483647 levewl item enchants and I do believe that the 255 cap made it less fun. So please revert this change so some players can have more fun on newer versions and won't have to play on version1.16-1.16.5 to be able to get 2.147 billion item enchantments.
