Allay constructing

Many have pointed out that the Allay should be renewable given the difficulty it would take to acquire enough for a large scale Redstone project utilizing them. Right now it would be impossible to find enough Allays in technical multiplayer servers so they really need a way to be renewed. However a lot of ideas seem to want to breed Allays which I find weird since they're clearly inorganic and it would also make them way too easy to obtain.
Instead, I think it should be possible to build an Allay. They are much more like a golem than a breedable mob. Components that make sense are Diamond blocks, given their color, Totems of Undying, given their connection to Vexes and Evokers, and finally Echo Shards, given their connection to sound. Obviously these cannot be directly placed, so maybe they could be given to an Allay which could use these components to make another one of itself. Because you would also want them to pick up these items normally, you could give them a splash potion of strength and then supply these items that it uses to build. Another idea would be to craft these items into a block called an Allay Core or something and give that to an Allay. This idea gives echo shards another use, makes Allay viable for large-scale projects, while also keeping them very rare for non-technical players.
