Dog Breeds & Archeology

What if dogs could be useful at excavation sites? After taming one, they could assist you while you're searching for archeology items. They could help you by digging into the ground or by alerting you of something valuable nearby that has yet to be uncovered. Something similar to the role of the brush, but in a unique way. This would also give Minecraft the opportunity to add different dog breeds, which MANY people are hoping to come to the game very soon. This way it would fit in with whichever update that introduces the archeology system to Minecraft.

    Pitching in my vote and saying: Dear Mojang, please add dog breeds AND color variants. Sort of how the horse can have a color and a pattern, the dog should have a breed and some color variance within the dog breeds themselves. I'll be seriously disappointed if every pug is beige and every pit bull is brown.
