I love the old Minecraft textures, and when I saw there was an official, free texture pack on the marketplace, I wanted to check it out for myself. But, I noticed a few issues that make the pack hard to play with.
For one, the old netherrack texture isn't reflected in the crimson/warped nylium. It makes the two textures (that in the base game would normally blend well) just not work next to one another.
Another thing is that the copper/netherite ingots just don't have an outline like the other ingot textures. This one is more manageable, but just doesn't fit the feel of the old textures.
Third and final thing, some blocks rotate in a way that looks outright weird. For example, leaves. Try logging into a world with this pack and looking at a tree without it feeling off. Or dirt, for that matter.
In all, the reason I bring up these issues is that they really make the game hard to play with, making them much less appealing to even download. These changes are minor, and could probably be fixed quite easily, so if this could be fixed, it would really make this pack much more enjoyable and appealing to anyone who wants to play with it.
