If you want to propose a change to an existing structure (like villages), or add something brand new in a current dimension or biome, this is the place.

Custom Structure Generation

With the addition of so many new structures over the past decade of Minecraft, we should be able to pull up a list to disable which structures we want generated. As far as I am aware, when the feature to enable/disable structures generating, Spawner rooms and maybe villages were the only structures in the game

This would allow players to disable certain elements of the game they may/may not want. As well as allow modders to allow their players to disable certain generation within the mod

    I mean more biomes will be cool but if there was a option to vote for new dimensions I would vote for that

    I'm commenting here because I'm somewhat annoyed that I have to go learn how to manipulate a JSON file just to generate a superflat world with no structures other than the stronghold. And I am aware of the 'customize' screen for superflat worlds. But when I put what I understand to be the correct string of settings for what I want (3;1*minecraft:bedrock,2*minecraft:dirt,1*minecraft:grass;5;stronghold(chance=32 count=3 spread=3)), I still get villages and other structures generating. And if I run the same superflat customization with "Generate Structures:OFF" there is no stronghold.

    Please, please, please allow for more natural customization of structure generation. In the meantime, if anyone knows how to get a world to generate the way I'd like it, I'd appreciate any help.
