Please remove darkness

Hello Dear Minecraft-Team,

I want to give you feedback on the new darkness effect in 1.18.2 when your screen goes completly dark if you go to deep in caves without a light source, in Minecraft:Java. I appreciate your hard work and thank you for the amazing content you alway bring us, but i do not understand why you implemented this new darkness effect. Firstly it is pretty annoying when you play in singleplayer, you always need to have a lightssource with you which can be a bit inconvinient. Secondly when you play adventure maps this effect can also be very annoying, when there are parts of the map where you don't have a proper light source. Lastly, this effect somewhat defeat the purpouse of the darkness effect the warden will give you in the future, when the warden spawns you still need to place troches so you can see something which will atract it and when you already can't see anything the darkness effect becomes unnesacary.

My personal solution tips are either give us a boutton in the settings to deactivate this dynamic darkness effect or give us a new item like minerhelmet with a dynamic ligth on top.

    I disagree, If you activated a shrieker and summoned the warden, it is your own fault, also, you have 4 shriekers to activate before you summon the warden, you just have to be careful, it's your own fault if you summoned the warden, because it's actually easy to avoid the shriekers (tried it myself), the darkness is like an extra punishment for it.

    This effect being forced is extremely invasive feeling.
    Watching content creators try to do things with the warden and this effect makes the whole screen black s terrible content. It needs to be remedied asap.
    Full screen darkness, and frogs that eat magma and crap full blocks.
    what the actual F**K is wrong with the developers these days???

    The darkness effect is part of what makes ancient cities challenging when you make the wrong moves. Be stealthy and you won’t deal with it.
