Better Allay Radius with Gem/Metal Blocks

My idea is pretty simple. As of now, Allays pick up items when you use a note block. They only pick up items in a certain radius, which is constant. My idea is to be able to increase that radius by placing different gem/metal blocks under the note block. An example is:

Normal block underneath note block: Radius of 6

Copper block underneath note block: Radius of 12

Iron block underneath note block: Radius of 18

Gold block underneath note block: Radius of 24

Emerald block underneath note block: Radius of 30

Diamond block underneath note block: Radius of 36

Netherite block underneath note block: Radius of 42

Obviously, these wouldn't have to be the exact radii. The point is that the radius in which the Allay can pick up items would increase based on the type of gem/metal block beneath it.
