Make Villagers find their beds/work stations easily

I put my villager breeder high above the ground and when villagers go to my base, they will run around my base and I have to manually push them into my tube and up the ladder to get them up there. It's SO TEDIOUS. Also, sometimes they get stuck on the tops of beds even though it looks like they should be able to get down. I think that we need to improve villager AI in order to put them in their areas better, and to stop them from getting stuck.
