We need to have a boolean section in the /tp command to be able to set retaining the velocity of a teleported argument. If true, a teleported arrow will continue travelling in its same motion as it was before it was teleported. If false (by default, since that is how it is right now), the arrow will lose its momentum and proceed to fall.
This would be nice for both versions, but considering Java has a lot more alternative mechanics to get around this already, preferably for Bedrock Edition first.
