Echo Shard Tools

Love the recovery compass and think it is a great addition, but it may be limited in its value. I think a larger reward is needed to encourage people to venture into the ancient cities.

Echo shards have established some sort of relationship with death obviously due to their current usage. If you were to apply an echo shard to a tool or armor, maybe it would stay with you upon your death. The echo shard would then be used up and another would have to be applied.

This would offer another use for the smithing table as well.
