I think it would be a good idea to make creatures that die on sculk should have a 75% chance of spreading sculk, but a 25% chance of it turning into a sculk form. The reason I think this is a good idea is the spreading of sculk. If there is a sculk mob already (Warden), and sculk can spread across blocks, why not make it take over sheep as well? I think they could share a hive mind like aggression, like zombified piglins. These mobs could be aggresive to the player and could detect through sound like the warden and sculk sensors do. once the player is found, all sculk mobs in the area (Possibly including the warden) would target the player. I also think that nearby sculk sensors activated in a nearby area around the sculk mobs could alert them to the presence of the player or mob that activated it. some art for the sculk creatures could be their bodies are made of sculk, they have bone-like armour like the warden's and their eyes could fully black while their ears (If they have any) could turn like the warden's/sculk sensors antenna.
