Wolves more dangerous

I feel like Wolves aren't dangerous enough. Normally walking through the woods and coming across a pack of wolves is a tense situation, in Minecraft it's like you came across a group of puppies in a dog park. Maybe if they get aggressive at night like spiders, or have a chance of attacking you if you hold meat in front of them, or maybe work somewhat like polar bears and attack you if you get too close to their young. I feel like it would make the game a bit more exciting while exploring the usually calm forests in the Overworld. Maybe this could lead to dogs and wolves being two different mobs, idk
