Echo Blocks

Echo Shards are useful! Unless you’re in hardcore. What’s the point in a compass that points to your last death if you’re not able to respawn? Nothing! (Other than looking cool) Echo is in the name so why not make an Echo Block! (Echo Crystal? Block of Echos?) It would bounce sounds and vibrations that hit it away. It would be useful for stealth and making cool sounding areas. They would be crafted with 9 echo shards and would naturally generate in rare Echo Geodes that would spawn in the Deep Dark!

    Maybe the Echo Geodes could very rarely spawn as ancient mining structures in Ancient Cities!

    it could be more commonly found along the walls, and when the sculk sensor activates the sculk shrieker, the scream particles bounce off of the echo blocks and alert the warden, and they wouldn't drop anything when mined so you have to use echo shards to obtain them

    I like that idea. Maybe they could be found on the walls around Ancient Cities as a defense from the Warden. (That clearly backfired because it would alert the Warden) Whoever lived in Ancient Cities seemed to have not liked sculk because wool is everywhere so that would make sense. And not getting anything from the block is a good-ish idea. But you should be able to still get some shards or have the block drop with Silk Touch.
