The warden should sometimes just break out of the ground to *patrol* the area, then just burrows down to the ground again, this could make the current deep dark even more dangerous and risky, and, these wardens can also spawn naturally. To make it fair though, there should be a signaling effect that could warn the player nearby when a warden patrol happens, like the sculk having a sort of, shaking effect.
TLDR; warden patrol to make deep dark more challenging because you know, it seems easy just wandering around breaking shriekers before they could even alert the warden.
