This is the thing that pushed me away from Bedrock finally when I found out about it. I only found out about the difference in tick speed from looking it up because my crops were growing really slow. The game tick speed for Java is 3 by default and 1 on bedrock by default. The higher this is the faster crops grow, fire spreads, etc. With this being the case, crops grow at 1/3 the speed of Java edition. This is way too slow. In order to get a decent amount of crops you have to either built your farm at 3x the size, or increase the tick speed which disables achievements.
There is no reason for it to be 1 in Bedrock and I suggest changing the default to 3 to match the Java version.
