Paint with snowgolems in boats

Yesterday I wanted to put snowlayers in a huge area. I put down a bunch of snowgolems to help me fulfill my task. I noticed that the AI of snowgolems will help me but in a long period of time.

I put a snowgolem in a boat and drove it along the surface. And it didn't paint the ground. 

I suggest that snowgolems should be able to put snowlayers on the ground while in a boat so we can paint the world with snowlayers.
