Pet finder

I think a new function where you can find your pet using a tool when they are sitting. For example, maybe there is some kind of compass that directs you to them. This would be some late-game thing, craftable with only rare items. Maybe a compass surrounded by a map and diamonds could be recorded on a pet when right clicked on them. It would be a one-time thing and can only be attached to one single pet, not multi-use. This way, players could still find their pet, but also the function wouldn't be too OP since if the pet dies the compass will no longer function. 

I think it is too often that I sit my dog down the lose them. Like when I go cave mining, I sit them down so they don't attack hostile mobs and get hurt, but then afterwards they don't teleport to me because I sat them down. By adding a compass that can be attached to the pet/dog/cat, I can leave them then find them again.
