Have slimes not take fall damage and instead bounce.
The youtuber "doctor4t" made a video where he shows the idea in the first 30 seconds.
The slimes bounce off the ground and the walls and I think with that little bit of bounciness the slimes could be limitless fun.
Fighting them would change completely, especially in caves!
