When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Compress Ice for packed ice

Hey! I'm a minecraft SMP player and, 
I just built a frost ice highway maker by Ilmango, and my friend just thought, why can't you like compress ice using pistons? This means that if I use armor stands to make frosted ice, I can use piston to put together 2 frosted ice to make normal ice, packed ice and blue ice . This would make fast highways possible to build automaticlly

If enough upvotes this could possibly be a feature! Other ways to compress ice while its in the air would be nice, like push ice with a piston etc.
